Located steps away from Lafayette College in Easton, PA, The Trolley Stop Diner offers made-from-scratch, home-style diner classics featuring ingredients from local farmers and makers from across the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountains.
At the Trolley Stop, we believe that small food producers play a vital role in creating a sustainable food system and the preservation of our area’s agricultural land and open spaces. That’s why we source our ingredients locally and actively practice food waste management on a daily basis. Our kitchen is outfitted with a biodigester, which reduces 100% of our food waste from landfills, reduces methane emissions, and lowers the diner’s carbon footprint.
On April 26, 2021 the diner welcomed its first official guests – Lafayette College President Alison Byerly, her husband Steven Jenson, and Easton Mayor Sal Panto Jr.
The Trolley Stop is now open to everyone! We officially opened our doors to the general public on Saturday, May 29, 2021. See our full menu here.
During the 2021 Fall Semester, the Diner will be open M-TH 7am-10pm and FRI-SAT 7am-11pm.
Students can use meal swipes during the academic semesters and Pard dollars year-round at the diner. Meal swipes are equivalent to an $8.00 limit. After that dollar amount has been met, if there is still a balance on a student’s check, any accepted tender can be used (Pard dollars, cash, credit, debit).
In line with the existing PA Department of Health and CDC guidelines, The Trolley Stop staff is adhering to all cleaning and sanitizing schedules.
